Jennifer McClain-Counts received her B.S. degree in Marine Biology (2006) and her M.S. degree is Marine Science (2010) from University of North Carolina Wilmington. In 2001, she was hired to her current position as a Biological Technician with the USGS Southeast Ecological Science Center in Gainesville, FL. Jennie is the laboratory manager for the Benthic Ecology laboratory. She works with Dr. Amanda Demopoulos to examine trophic relationships and community structure of marine fauna collected in various habitats, such as wetlands, offshore wrecks and deep-sea corals.
