I am currently the coordinator for the USGS National Water-Quality Assessment Program studies of trends in groundwater quality. This research includes three components: 1) a statistical analysis of groundwater quality data collected by the NAWQA program, 2) studies of factors affecting trends in groundwater quality, and 3) simulation and forecasting of groundwater quality trends at selected locations.  In addition, I am the coordinator for NAWQA studies of groundwater quality in the Piedmont and Valley and Ridge Aqufiers.
