Short Biography

          Lenny Konikow received a B.A. in geology from Hofstra University, and an M.S. and Ph.D. from Penn State University.  He’s worked for the U.S. Geological Survey since 1972.  His research interests include the development and application of solute-transport models to groundwater problems and the assessment of groundwater depletion.  He is an AGU Fellow and has received the O.E. Meinzer Award from the Geological Society of America.
