• Ph.D., soil science, University of Minnesota, 1975

• Research has focused on anthropogenic and technologically-enhanced naturally occurring contaminants in soil and aquatic systems. Materials of interest have included soils impacted by coal-combustion stack emissions, uranium mill tailings, and tire wear particles.
